Moore Salmon Associates, Building Surveyors working with Wandsworth Council Housing Department, specified a Langley Green Roofing System for the refurbishment of two housing blocks resting in the shadow of Battersea Power Station.

Citing environmental concerns as the main reason for choosing a green roofing system, Moore Salmon Associates join a number of leading specifiers in recognising the benefits of green roofs in the urban environment. Extensive sedum planting provides much needed ‘green’ space and encourages wildlife as well as improving the insulation to the building.

WAA Roofing Limited carried out the installation of the waterproofing and green roofing elements.
