Langley had worked closely with Wates Living Space and approved contractor Infallible Systems Ltd to project manage this large programme of works for Homes for Haringey.
This has provided the client with an exceptional Flat to Pitched roof conversion, as shown in this fine example of estate regeneration.
As well as dealing with the design of the roof conversion and associated structural engineering, Langley also managed the Planning and Building control requirements on this project.
The roof system consists of a bespoke Langley Flat to Pitched roofing system measuring 2500m² over four blocks (Campsfield House, Gillett House, Myddelton House and Honeymead House).
Langley had to overcome certain design issues on this project which included the client’s requirement for full new roof void access. This required the cutting of new access hatches and in some cases, the introduction of a dormer feature to some of the hip ends.
