Langley’s expertise in Flat to Pitched conversions is shown in this superb example of a conversion blending in to its surroundings perfectly.

Flat to Pitch conversions are a specialist area of roofing that Langley has years of experience managing, with a close working relationship with the client, Erinaceous Group and the contractor Apollo Property Services Group Ltd, who themselves have a history of flat to pitch work.

The roof system consists of a bespoke Langley Flat to Pitch roofing system measuring 5,000m². This was designed specifically for this particular site and took into account all the stresses and engineering calculations necessary to start a roofing project of this kind.

One design issue Langley overcame on this project was the implementation of sun-tubes to existing rooflight openings on the flat roof, these were required to continue to supply the only natural light into residents bathrooms.
