Langley has developed a range of roof refurbishment products that work sympathetically with any building, regardless of its age or type. This is shown in this superb example of estate regeneration where Langley worked in partnership with Amber Construction Services Ltd.

As well as dealing with the design of the roof conversion and associated structural engineering, Langley also managed the Planning and Building control requirements on the project.

The roof system consists of a bespoke Langley Flat
to Pitch roofing system measuring 3200m² over six blocks in total.

One design issue Langley overcame on this project was the requirement to incorporate the existing tank housing arrangements into the new roof void which required a gable end roof form. Careful consideration had to be given to the type of fixing used to secure the new roof structure to the existing flat roof. Langley also arranged for specialist site testing to be carried out before and during the build.
