Copper Veral was used to stunning effect on the Kijang Sports Hall in Busan in South Korea, which was the venue for the 2008 World Martial Arts Games. This state of the art facility was completed in 2002 and has hosted many high-profile events since that time.
This building, designed for the "Italia 61" exhibition in celebration of the first 100-year anniversary of the unification of Italy was renovated before the 2006 Winter Olympic Games to host the skating events. The main round structure is 150 metres in diameter and supported only by three cornerstones, the re roofing was done to a high standard using Copper Veral, to compliment its unique look.
The lead covering to this rotunda roof at Lindfield Primary School, West Sussex had been stolen, and approved contractor Breyer Group Plc turned to Langley for a new waterproofing system.
