PV panels, solar energy, Feed-in Tariffs and sustainability were the buzz words at a recent contractor training day hosted by waterpooring experts, Langley.

Delegates, who were members of Langley’s partner contractor network, focused on the UK Government’s commitment to carbon reduction and sustainability, along with the huge potential for solar energy across Europe. Also under the spotlight were ways of maximising return on investment for the end-users of the PV systems by utilising the relationship between Langley and its partnering contractor network.

Guests also had the chance to trial Langley’s unique rack and rail system and experience the benefits of the unique PV system for themselves.

Langley Managing Director, Tony Silvestri, commented:

“We believe that the recent introduction of Feed-in-Tariffs and the Government’s very public commitment to reducing carbon emissions through the use of sustainable products and systems presents a real opportunity for both Langley and its partnering contractors.

Langley’s long experience of the public and commercial sectors has shown us repeatedly that clients want a Comprehensive One-Stop-Shop approach to their general roofing requirements all under the umbrella of an Insurance Backed Guarantee. Our contractor day gave us the opportunity to demonstrate how this works in practice and the way in which all parties stand to benefit from our tried and tested approach.”

The contractors’ day took place at the prestigious Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich Spa and was the second in a series of similar events being run by Langley.
