'Langley UK Limited, a new company formed by Tony Silvestri, has completed the acquisition of Langley Waterproofing Systems Limited, for whom he is Sales Director and now becomes Managing Director.'
Langley is a roofing supplier and distribution business, predominantly to public sector projects in London. Under new ownership, expansion of the Langley’s business towards commercial work and projects outside of London is intended, whilst also capitalising on the increasing spending recently announced by the government into the “Decent Homes” social housing projects and “Building Schools for the Future” projects.
The deal was wholly debt funded by banks and vendors with Simon Wakeling, the outgoing Managing Director, who is appointed a non-executive director of Langley UK Limited, retaining a 25% stake in the group.
Cooperative Bank plc, led by Tim Jones, has provided a 5 year term loan facility. Haslers Corporate Finance LLP, led by Simon Blake and supported by Dominic Dumville, advised Tony Silvestri and Langley UK Limited, sourced the debt funding and coordinated the transaction over a 12 month period through the worst banking crisis in many years.
Langley Waterproofing Systems ltd is pleased to announce that it has received approval from the British Board of Agrement (BBA) for its Paraglaze Rooflights and Upstands.
