Langley Waterproofing Systems ltd is pleased to announce that it has received approval from the British Board of Agrement (BBA) for its Paraglaze Rooflights and Upstands.
Langley Waterproofing Systems Ltd is pleased to announce that it has received approval from the British Board of Agrément (BBA) for its Paraglaze Rooflights and Upstands.
Suitable for use on flat roofs of new and existing buildings, Langley’s Paraglaze Rooflights have been approved by the BBA as a high quality PVC-U or GRP natural light and ventilation solution for domestic and commercial buildings.
The BBA Certificate was awarded following a rigorous assessment of the rooflights and upstands, which entailed Langley working closely with the BBA’s own Inspection Services Team.
Key factors, such as light and solar transmittance, thermal retention properties and condensation risk were scrutinised to ensure that Langley’s products were reliable, durable and fit-for-purpose. The assessment also looked at the strength and stability as well as the weather-tightness of the rooflights, taking into consideration factors such as rain and snow loads on flat roofs and the useful life span of PVC-U materials in most environments.
