The Woollies, a delightful mix of happy, grumpy and even pirate face lapel pins, were hand crafted by Langley Accounts Controller Kim Bond’s mother, Mrs Quirke, for internal employees who made a donation to Comic Relief.
The Woollies idea came about by staff members who wanted to participate for Comic Relief but felt that wearing the traditional Red Noses would be difficult in an office environment. Kim comments, ‘We wanted to take part but thought something we could attach to our clothing would be less disruptive to our work, so the Woollies idea came into being and my Mum was more than happy to help.’
Langley management would like to thank all employees both internal and external who made donations for the generous amount raised and put forward to Comic Relief. A special thank you was extended to Mrs Quirke for her time and skill in making the Woollies.
