Langley PB-10 Parabase Protective Coating System

The PB-10 protective coating system is part of the Langley Paracoat range of cold applied liquid systems. Parabase is an advanced two-part polyurethane, high performance, quick curing coating system with a skid-inhibiting surface for existing asphalt walkways and balcony areas. The system includes a two-part thixotropic coating for details and skirtings and carries a 10 year independently insured guarantee for both materials and workmanship.

When to Specify

This system is for refurbishment projects where existing asphalt walkway/balcony is to be overcoated.

Durability

Hard, tough and flexible. Seamless. Solvent free. Excellent water and chemical resistance. UV resistant. Slip resistant finish. Parabase TX (thixotropic) for details.

Lifespan

Life expectancy in excess of 10 -15 years (dependent on wear).

Installation

Parabase and Parabase TX are both two-part polyurethane compounds. On-site mixing required (mechanical agitation). Two hour curing (chemically activated). Full range of supporting products. These include ‘Fast-Cure’ primer and biocidal wash.

Guarantee

System carries a 10 year independently insured guarantee for both materials and workmanship.
Can only be installed by approved contractors to ensure product quality is maintained
