Here at Langley, we are proud to be at the forefront of the industry working with key associations and partners. We are committed to ensuring the courses we deliver are regularly updated, in line with industry standards and changes.

Our courses offer a unique opportunity for operatives, managers, supervisors, and other key roles to learn from highly qualified and experienced industry trainers.

We continue to extend our training offering to include both industry known and Langley bespoke courses.

We sit on influential groups – such as LRWA (Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association) and the NFRC (National Federation of Roofing Contractors), which have initiatives such as Safe2Torch and RoofCert.

Training the industry with real world skills

Langley provide all levels of NVQs, Government-backed apprenticeships, CPDs and training supported by CITB and NOCN.

Delivered by our award winning highly qualified team of trainers, our courses offer practical, hands-on experience across a range of disciplines. We are proud to have over 70 apprentices learning the trade through the academy at any one time.

To ensure our courses are accessible nationwide we can deliver and assess on-site at the academy or at your premises.

Langley Roofer Level 2
Waterproofing Membranes Installer

This Level 2 qualification involves installing a range of roofing materials and products at height. It includes interpreting drawings, measuring and calculating the required amount of materials.

Designed for any person that is currently working as a supervisor or foreman and requires a nationally recognised qualification in this occupation.

Working at Heights (ROSPA approved)

Our ROSPA approved Working at heights course helps you to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 by providing employers and employees with the necessary information needed to be able to successfully deal with working at height risks and control measures. This includes an understanding of how to undertake a working at height risk assessment to effectively control and manage risks, how to use access equipment safely and how to ensure that employees can reduce their risk of falls from height.

Harness FPE Formal inspection course (ROSPA approved)

Our ROSPA approved Safety Harness FPE Formal Inspection Course delivers theory and hands on practical instruction and provides delegates with the required competency to safely and correctly carry out the statutory inspections to general items of fall protection equipment and accurately record their findings. This course incorporates the guidance on inspection regimes detailed in INDG-367 along with supporting sample forms and documentation
