Howard Court

A Langley specification was chosen for this residential block in Cambridge as it met the design criteria while remaining cost-effective. Additional budget sensitivities needed to be considered due to the project being funded by the residents.

The existing structural deck was very fragile, being constructed of compressed stramit strawboard. Langley Approved Contractor, Acclaim Contracts Ltd, strengthened the existing deck with structural plywood.

They successfully installed a new Langley TA-20 RBM system including new access hatches and fascia without any noise or disturbance complaints from the residents. The new roofing system has an independent, insurance-backed guarantee for 15 years, providing residents with peace of mind.
