Kingsbury High School

When London’s largest high school approached specialist consultants Capita PCC to refurbish its facilities, Langley was called upon for the roof refurbishment element. Langley’s in-depth survey and report highlighted complications with the schools current drainage system and inefficient insulation.

The roof’s unusual design meant that every roof had to be individually designed due to the variation between the roofs and drainage issues each roof presented.

The resulting Langley specification overcame these variations correcting the drainage on each roof area and enabling the school to retain more heat with improved insulation throughout.

The first phase of the refurbishment, totalling 5,000m², was completed by Langley approved contractor Breyer Group PLC to an exacting high standard and within timeframes.
