Larkspur Close

CLIENT:
Homes for Haringey
CONTRACTOR:
ENGIE Regeneration Ltd
SIZE:
2,150m²

Larkspur Close is a large single storey sheltered residence for the elderly, with six adjacent bungalows. The existing flat roofs across the estate had reached the end of their life and the building owners turned to Langley for a comprehensive roof condition survey.

The survey found that all roofs had been extensively repaired over time, and that water had penetrated the insulation layer, therefore requiring the roofs to be stripped back to the deck. Langley completed a comprehensive specification which included the TA-20 Flat Roofing System and a resolution for the current issues and any non-compliance of building regulations.

Laetitia Morant-Oyewole, Asset Management Senior Project Manager at Homes for Haringey commented: “Langley is a longstanding partner of Homes for Haringey and this project was delivered with consideration for our future needs. The scope of works included the installation of a new roof, drainage upgrade and introduction of rooflights to all the bathrooms. The works have improved the integrity of the building and the quality of living for our residents. We and our residents are extremely pleased with the works, and Langley’s professionalism, throughout the process of delivery”
