Mount Grace School

Barker Associates
Thameside Roofing Ltd

Built in 1954, Mount Grace School is a secondary school and sixth form with an extensive estate made up of multiple buildings.

Areas of the school had begun to suffer water ingress, including the reception foyer, canteen, and stairwells. Funding needed to be secured to efficiently renew the damage and to schedule the works in to have minimal impact on student learning.

The recommended solution was Langley’s reinforced bituminous membrane (RBM) TA-20 Flat Roofing System.

Paul Seymour, School Business Manager at Mount Grace School, said: “We’re thrilled with the works and refurbishment. Langley, Barkers and Thameside have worked closely and efficiently, and that
collaboration has allowed us to continue to deliver our continued high-quality education, undisturbed, to our students.
