Greystead Road

The decaying corrugated metal roof of this London housing block needed replacing and Langley was selected to install a RBM system, including a new plywood deck. Challenging details were handled expertly by Langley Approved Contractor Breyer Group Plc. Howard Court

A Langley specification was chosen for this residential block in Cambridge as it met the design criteria while remaining cost-effective. Additional budget sensitivities needed to be considered due to the project being funded by the residents. The existing structural deck was very fragile, being constructed of compressed stramit strawboard. 77 West Street Bedminster

The rooftop walkway and patio areas of this residential block in Bedminster required stripping back to the deck and renewing, as they had started to leak into the flats below. Langley’s TA-20 system was specified, and any possible fire risk was avoided by using SA-20 next to any potentially flammable wall cladding, in line with the NFRC’s Safe2Torch initiative. British American Tobacco

Langley was commissioned to replace the defective flat roofs on Building 23, the global Research and Development facilities for British American Tobacco. The site remained live during the project, so security was paramount and it was particularly sensitive to disruption. A full condition survey was carried out by Langley, in conjunction with TSL, a Langley Approved Contractor, who then installed the specified waterproofing system with meticulous care.
