We are delighted to announce that RT Roofing Services Ltd have been awarded Langley’s February Contractor of the Month.
The award is in recognition of their high-quality workmanship carried out at the Kingsdale Foundation School, Dulwich in association with the Barker Associates. This 3500m² RBM roof refurbishment was completed using our SA-20 (self-adhesive) system where fire risks had been identified to comply with NFRC Safe2Torch guidelines.
There were many challenging areas throughout the project which the contractor had to conquer. They expertly designed a solution, to overcome the large drainage pipes which fed from the large domed gutters. This involved temporarily moving sections off the pipe to allow sections of the roof being completed before re-housing in bespoke boxes with new lead detailing.
The work was carried out whilst the school was fully functional; demanding we sympathetically worked closely with the school’s premises manager to ensure pupils and staff were kept safe at all times.
