Reinforced Bituminous Membrane

At the heart of these systems is SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) the chosen elastomer for Langley. When mixed with prime bitumen and chosen fillers, SBS gives the finished product an unsurpassed tolerance to the vast temperature extremes encountered at rooftop level. Minimising the rigidity and mobility of a membrane is the key to a long life and nothing does this more effectively than SBS.

Langley’s premium quality range of high performance, SBS modified elastomeric bituminous systems for flat and sloping roofs is ideal for both new and refurbishment projects. Typical Langley systems consist of a bitumen primer, vapour control layer, insulation, underlay with a choice of different colour capping sheets. Single layer options are also available for the overlay refurbishment of existing flat roofs.
